Bio - Perry Wirth:

  • Will be a Senior at MSOE working for a bachelors degree in Management
    Information Systems with a concentration in Application Support and
    Development.
  • Started learning HTML and CSS when I was 14 (8th grade) creating my own
    website for fun.
  • I have been working for Connexion Technologies specializing in Web Design
    since February 2008. Since then I have made over 10 Joomla web sites.
  • Familiar with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and Java.
  • I spend my "free time" being a co-owner of Neutral Ground North martial arts
    studio in Grafton, WI specializing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Bio - Rich Dorfman:

  • Rich Dorfman, founder and Senior Developer at WebFeats!, Oconomowoc, WI (web-feats.com), has been providing web development, enterprise programming and network consulting services to the Greater Milwaukee area since 1995.
  • Rich has focused on the Joomla CMS since 2007 and has created 6 Joomla sites for clients.
  • Rich codes in ASP and ASP.NET, Java, C++, C#, ColdFusion and Perl but his favorite programming language is PHP. He created a PHP kiosk application that's been running in the lobby of the Kenosha Public Museum since 2004.
  • Prior to this incredibly stupid spring, Rich has enjoyed storm chasing and recommends his storm chasing web site if you like to watch videos of people swearing a lot while getting hailed on.

Bio - Brian Teeman:

  • Originally a youth worker dealing with severely disturbed youngsters Brian was involved in publishing some of the largest multimedia CD-ROMS of the late 90's.
  • In 2000 Brian helped to launch the first Linux ISP for the UK.
  • Brian was present at all the key steps in the life of Mambo and later co-founded Joomla and Open Source Matters Inc.
  • Brian currently develops web sites in the UK using Joomla and runs a popular Joomla blog at http://brian.teeman.net

Bio - Jamie Lynn Schmidt:

  • Jamie is a Graphic Designer going back to school for web design. She will showcase her first website.
