Well it's official, JoomlaMilwaukee.com is now a recognized Joomla! User Group (JUG).

Elin Waring,  President of Open Source Matters (the copyright and trademark holder of the Joomla! project) wrote this morning to say that we are officially "Joomla! User Group Milwaukee II". As soon as the administrative tasks are completed at Joomla.org, I'll be updating this site to indicate the status change.

 As some of you know, another JUG was created last year in Milwaukee. However, they do not appear to have had any activity since inception. The web site is mostly a collection of affiliate links and advertising, so I am not sure how long they will remain listed as a recognized JUG on Joomla.org.
